Attain Extraordinary Success

success wheel

Have you ever thought about someone you know who has succeeded in something quite remarkable? This could be starting a highly successful business, writing a blockbuster-selling book, designing an award-winning house, or going out with a stunning member of the opposite sex. You are wondering how someone like this could pull it off. The individual doesn't appear to have as much talent as you, be as smart as you, or be as attractive as you. If this person can do it, why can't you?

To the extent that you have abilities that come at least as dose to those of the average person in society, you are undoubtedly right about the accomplished person not having more talent, intelligence, or sex appeal than you.

This shouldn't come as a big surprise.

You don't have to be a saint or a genius to make an impact or big difference in this world.

Fantasies and dreams don't have to be a waste of time.

Truth be known, extraordinary success is attained by ordinary people - who are not much different from you and me.

Practically every spectacular achievement was once thought impossible.

What is impossible today to most people may be tomorrow's breakthrough success for some ordinary, but motivated individual.

In many cases, one frustrated person is saying, "I give up, it can't be done," while another empowered person is responding to the same situation with "This looks like a great opportunity to create something new and interesting."

If you don't think that it can be done, at least get out of the way of the person who is actually doing it.

The difference between success and failure is often pretty slim.

It's usually not so much a big difference in people's abilities as a difference in people's self-esteem.

Many individuals with great natural ability have been immobilized because of their inability to get their esteem out of the deep ditch in which it rests.

If you regularly have bouts of low self-esteem, it is imperative that you do what is necessary to get out of that ditch and raise your concept of yourself.

With low self-esteem you will continue to experience frustration and failure.

Low self-esteem is a paralyzing disease that invariably produces unhappiness.

Here's the bottom line: Ordinary people attain extraordinary success you can too! Indeed, you can do something truly spectacular if you refuse to accept that it is impossible.

Countless individuals have either worked at lousy jobs, failed miserably at many things, dropped out of school, got rejected hundreds of times, goofed off for years, or did time in jail before achieving extraordinary success.

Within each of us, more than we ever care to admit lies the power to change our lives. We can have better health, deeper friendships, everlasting love, more riches, enjoyable work, and greater freedom.

The power lies not in getting to Heaven, but in using our creativity on Earth.

No matter whom you are, you must accept that you have a lot going for you.

You must believe in yourself and set reasonable targets for achieving your goals.

You may avoid creative and artistic pursuits because you don't think of yourself as creative or artistic.

Whether or not you consider yourself artistically inclined, try doing something artistic on a regular basis.

Take at least an hour or two to make a list of your skills, your interests, and your strengths.

You will be surprised at how much talent you have.

Once you have a firm idea of what you want out of life, you can start working toward attaining it.

You must realize the many things that are possible.

When you say something can't be done, soon after you will probably see someone doing it.

In most cases the person doing it won't have any greater abilities or talent than you.

Set your sights high and you will likely accomplish something truly remarkable in your life.

You don't have to be overly ambitious - but you must have enthusiasm and energy.

It's a case of making the most of your creativity and will power.

Decide what you would like to achieve in life, and then go after it with conviction.

In time, other people may be wondering how you could have succeeded in something quite remarkable - even though you aren't as talented, intelligent, attractive, or hardworking as they are!
